Proto-core Leather is KUSHITANI’s original high-performance leather, developed to achieve the ideal balance of flexibility, strength, and heat resistance. Even in extreme racing conditions—with intense heat, speed, and friction—it retains its supple feel and provides a body-hugging fit. In the event of a fall, its exceptional durability helps protect the rider from damage. Proven in professional racing, Protocore Leather delivers the same trusted performance to every rider.

Zylon® is a high-performance fiber with roughly five times the tensile strength of steel, providing outstanding heat and cut resistance. At KUSHITANI, we incorporate Zylon® into the knit panels of our leather suits. Even under extreme heat and demanding riding conditions, it stays flexible while protecting the rider from impacts and abrasion. This essential material ensures racing suits deliver both mobility and safety without compromise.

CE PROTECTOR
KUSHITANI leather suits come equipped with CE-certified protectors at the shoulders, elbows, and knees, providing excellent impact absorption and durability. Each protector is carefully selected—CE Level 1 or Level 2—according to the specific requirements of each body part. This ensures a high level of safety without compromising the suit’s overall rigidity or freedom of movement. The chest protector is available separately. CE certification is a European safety standard aimed at reducing fatal injuries in traffic accidents.

Air bag System
Tech-Air®７＆１０
Based on years of technology developed on the MotoGP circuit, this fully autonomous, self-contained motorcycle airbag system is designed for high-performance riding, including road racing and track days. The system features an airbag that protects the shoulders, chest, and back, along with an integrated back protector, delivering exceptional impact protection.
hit-air®
In the event of a crash or accident, when the rider separates from the bike, a wire connected to the suit is pulled, instantly deploying the airbag installed inside the racing suit. This internal airbag cushions impacts to the shoulders, back, and chest. Unlike traditional externally-deploying airbags, this system inflates within the suit itself, enhancing protective performance.
