EXPLORER REBORN
The EX Leather used in EXPLORER jeans undergoes a brushing treatment while preserving the surface (grain) of the leather. This unique texture, unlike embossing or painting, requires a more complex process but helps maintain the leather’s natural softness and elasticity (Patent No. PAT3413378). In addition to excellent insulation, durability, and breathability, it also boasts superior water-repellent properties. The water-repellent effect, achieved through fluorine infusion, allows for machine washing and enables you to enjoy a distinctive, aged look over time with repeated use and washing, much like old jeans. Unlike denim, however, these jeans offer significantly greater durability.
To ensure long-lasting use of your EXPLORER jeans, we offer a re-dyeing process. This process is carried out at the same factory that manufactures EX Leather. Skilled artisans, who have an in-depth understanding of EX Leather’s properties, perform multiple rounds of re-dyeing to remove dirt and odors, restore the color, and ensure there are no uneven color patches, all while maintaining the original texture of the leather. The process is finalized with additional fluorine treatment.
The re-dyed EXPLORER jeans are truly "reborn," making them a perfect fit for the name. This meticulous process is a testament to KUSHITANI’s commitment to overseeing every stage, from leather manufacturing to product creation, under one roof. Every small step is dedicated to crafting a product that will satisfy each rider. We firmly believe that this process connects directly to our customers, resulting in a product that reflects our commitment.
